We have embarked on a three-year comprehensive campaign that will allow CAC to reach more people in more ways. Funds raised through this campaign will help transform lives of those at risk of unstable housing and food insecurity. Equally important, it will propel them and others in the community to learn new skills and acquire better pay jobs, which leads families towards financial sustainability.

The Community Assistance Center (CAC) plays a critical role in community stability in the Northern Atlanta Perimeter Area. We provide a unique platform that enables neighbors to actively help neighbors in need to prevent hunger and homelessness while also helping them build financial stability and thrive.
Real Impact. Real Results.
CAC takes a holistic approach to preventing hunger and homeless. Our programs include basic needs assistance (food, clothing, and financial support), children’s programs, adult education, career services, and free tax preparation. In 2025, CAC supported 9,632 individuals, distributed 1.1 million pounds of food, and helped prevent 1,108 evictions.

Today, the need for targeted, strategic intervention has never been greater. Our families are facing real challenges—housing instability, food insecurity, job loss, and unexpected crises. We’re committed to building our capacity to reach more people in more ways and not just for the next three years, but for years to come.
