CAC Coats for Kids Program

The CAC Coats for Kids program provides free, new jackets to local children in time for winter. This program is open to children newborn up to and including 18 years of age from low-income families who live in Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and the part of Doraville served by Dunwoody schools. In 2022, we distributed over 400 jackets to local children.

To qualify for this program: The program is only open to families and their children who are already CAC clients as of September 2023. The children must be of ages 0-18.

Documentation: For active CAC clients, no additional documentation is required to register for this program. 

Distribution: Distribution will take place on October 14, 2023. We will announce the location and timing by email and text. CAC will not accept returns or exchanges of coats after distribution. 

Corrections/Additions: If you make a mistake on your registration or need to add new details after you submit this form, please send an email will your full name in the subject line to coatsforkids@ourcac.org. Please do not submit an additional form. 

Confirmation and Communication: Once you submit your registration, you will automatically receive a confirmation email to the email address you provided. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 10 minutes of submitting your application, please contact us at coatsforkids@ourcac.org. Once we have received and reviewed your submission, we will contact you via email/text to inform you of the status of your application. 

Photo/Video Media Release: By submitting this registration and participating in this program, you grant permission for photographs, video, or other media of yourself and/or your family to be used in the promotion of the Community Assistance Center and its programs, and by the Knights of Columbus (St. Jude Parish). This may include, but is not limited to, sharing your image on websites, newspapers, brochure, social media, and other internal and external promotions.
