Break past the uncertainty by exploring financial basics, learning to apply tools and techniques, and planning for your future financial wellbeing. Clients who receive financial assistance are encouraged to take these courses, as well.

About the CAC Adult Education program
The Adult Education program is integral to CAC’s efforts to promote self-sufficiency. Our education classes help neighbors in need improve their situations with daily life skills such as English, or new job skills to get better-paying jobs for a better future. Clients who receive financial assistance are encouraged to take the personal financial management course and given information on all the free classes available.
The Adult Education program, like everything else at CAC, is volunteer and donor driven. Volunteers teach the courses; many of the computers used in the classes are donated by local businesses. Many of our volunteers are busy professionals who give their time in the evenings to help others get ahead in life. Some of our volunteers are former students who gained employment as a result of taking classes at CAC and came back to teach others in need.
For more information on volunteering to teach or supporting Adult Education, please contact volunteer@ourcac.org.
