Student Volunteer Opportunities

Students can make a difference at CAC while earning service hours and supporting our community.

Who Can Volunteer?

Students ages 16 and older may volunteer with CAC by signing up for one of the opportunities below.

We occasionally have opportunities for students ages 13–15. Students in this age group must volunteer with a parent or guardian. Please review the age requirements for each opportunity before signing up.

Before You Volunteer

Complete a Volunteer Agreement
Every volunteer must complete a volunteer agreement before volunteering. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign your form.

Important Things to Know

Please be flexible.
Volunteer needs can change. If another area needs more assistance during your shift, we may ask you to help there instead.

Need documentation of your hours? Sign in.
All volunteers who need service-hour documentation must sign in for each shift. If you do not sign in, CAC will be unable to confirm your hours.

Can’t make your shift? Please let us know.
Volunteer opportunities are in high demand. If you need to cancel, please notify the volunteer manager at least 24 hours in advance. Missing a shift without notice may result in the loss of future shifts and make you ineligible to volunteer at CAC for three months.

Need More Flexibility?

CAC also offers projects that can be completed from home to earn service hours.

Court-Related Community Service

Need hours for pre-court or court-mandated community service?

You must fill out the Court Related Community Service Request form below before signing up so your hours can be pre-approved. Hours completed without prior approval will not be confirmed for court purposes.
