Get Help with Clothing

CAC provides free clothing to individuals and families seeking assistance. Clothing is available via CAC’s thrift shop, Upscale Thrift. Eligible clients receive an electronic allotment of clothing vouchers for each family member. The shop has clothing and shoes for men, women and children. Additional clothing and household items are available for purchase at greatly reduced prices.

About Clothing Assistance

CAC gives free clothing to about 300 people a month. The free clothing helps individuals and families by providing the basic needs of clothing so that limited incomes can be used to pay for necessities such as rent and utilities. All clothing is donated by the community and made available at CAC’s retail thrift shop, Upscale Thrift. Upscale Thrift is operated by volunteers who staff the store daily and work behind the scenes to take in donations, sort and prepare merchandise for sale in the store. Upscale Thrift is open to clients and the general public.

CAC gladly accepts donations of clean, gently worn clothes, shoes, accessories for the whole family as well as home goods and furniture. All donations are tax deductible.
